The Davis Solar Power Kit is used to power and shelter a Vantage Pro2 console, Vantage Vue console or Weather Envoy for remote or field installations. The kit consists of three components: a 5-watt solar panel, a 1.4 Ah battery, and a regulator circuit with a protective housing in which the console or Envoy can be mounted. This solar panel is ONLY for use with a Davis Weather Station, this is not for home use to power items in your home.

Please note ALL Davis products we sell will only support Davis Weather Stations and Accessories with Serial Numbers ending in EU or UK as they operate on a 433 Mhz frequency. Our Display Consoles WILL NOT support models that you have brought in yourself from the USA as they operate on a 915 Mhz frequency.

Calibration Certificates, Factory Certificates or Certificates of any other sort are NOT included in any of our prices.

Install your Vantage Vue or Wireless Vantage Pro2 console or Weather Envoy outside with solar power and shelter. (For cabled Vantage Pro2 console use the Heavy Duty Solar Power Kit and the Universal Shelter.) Mount your wireless console or Weather Envoy outside. The large solar panel powers a wireless console or Weather Envoy inside a weather resistant shelter. (Outdoor sensors are powered by the solar panel on the sensor suite.) In installations where sunlight is limited, add an Extra Solar Panel Kit. Powerful battery keeps running even when light is low.

Perfect for cold environments. Operates down to -40F (-40C)
Battery will continue to charge down to -4F (-20C)
